About
In the last 7 years, I have dedicated myself to higher education. I spent 2 years at ITT Technical Institute to acquire an Associate's Degree in Software Development while balancing a full-time job with a software company. I had graduated as class Valedictorian with Summa Cum Laude status and had received the Career Services Achievement Award. I felt that I needed more, so with the blessing of my employer, I had quit my job and focused on a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a certificate in User Experience Design from Eastern Washington University. I have just recently graduated and with Magna Cum Laude status. Prior to my years of education, I had worked in multiple jobs where I had started, self-taught, and gained experience in computer hardware, networking, and of course, software. Now that I have graduated, I am searching for a local employer that can see my genuine thirst for knowledge, hardworking ethic, and dedication/commitment to whatever I focus on.
Skills
I am always trying to learn, whether it is cutting edge or something that's been established for a while. The key to my success is the constant push to master what I focus on. Since I am currently unemployed, I'm spreading my scope out on things that I have experienced, have knowledge in, and feel comfortable coding to be a "Jack of all Languages".
